Termbase / Glossary
A curated bilingual (or multilingual) list of approved terminology governing a translation project.
What it means
A termbase records approved translations for controlled terms — protocol keywords, product names, regulator-specific vocabulary. It is the enforcement layer that keeps ICF, CRF, and safety translations aligned even across vendors.
Why it matters for LATAM submissions
The most common regulator complaint about translations is inconsistency, not incorrectness. A termbase is the direct fix.
