Power of Attorney (POA)
The legal instrument authorizing a local representative to file and act before a LATAM regulator.
What it means
Foreign sponsors must appoint a local legal representative for regulatory filings. The POA is executed abroad, apostilled or consular-legalized, and translated by a sworn or authorized translator into the local official language before filing.
Why it matters for LATAM submissions
A defective POA blocks the entire dossier. Sworn translation and apostille formality on this single document is the highest-leverage regulatory admin work.
